Members of the Culinary and Restaurant Management teams brought home state honors after competing in the ProStart State Competitions. The Culinary management team won first place honors and represented North Carolina in the national competition. The culinary competition was judged on preparation, presentation and delivery of entree and dessert. The Restaurmant Management team placed second in their competition which included designing a restaurant and planning the menu.
Students enrolled in Foods II have an opportunity to earn a ServSafe Credential. ServSafe is a nationally recognized credential through the National Restaurant Association.
